ABOUT THE SESSION
You have built a great agent. It works, it answers, it automates, it behaves. Technically, it is ready. But deploying an agent in Microsoft 365 is never just about flipping the switch in Copilot Studio or assigning a security group. Success depends on something far trickier: getting the organization, the governance model, and the people side to work in your favor.
In this session, we will walk through what it really takes to roll out an agent across M365. We will shortly cover the practical technical pieces that matter for deployment: lifecycle management, app registration considerations, publishing options, and what you need to verify before exposing your agent to hundreds or thousands of users. But we will not stop at the tech.
Because technology is only half the story.
The other half is what makes or breaks adoption:
How do you decide whether an agent is actually ready for production?
How do you prevent agent sprawl and avoid creating a zoo nobody can manage?
Who owns the agent after launch: IT, business, or a shared model?
How do you build trust, communicate limitations, and ensure users know when and how to use it?
How do you avoid becoming your organization’s unofficial 24/7 agent helpdesk?
You will leave with a practical rollout blueprint you can actually use: clear deployment steps, governance checkpoints, adoption tactics, and communication patterns you can drop straight into your organization.
If you have built an agent and want it to thrive instead of merely exist, this session is for you.
Assumed Knowledge:
You should know what M365 agents are and how to create them
Practical Takeaways:
Use a structured “production?ready” checklist (quality, security, compliance, ownership). Establish a governance model: inventory agents, approval workflow, and a clear long?term owner. Plan launch communications, training assets, and guidance for when not to use the agent. Provide support through existing channels, not the maker.
Out of Session Scope:
We will not cover creating an agent from scratch.
