ABOUT THE SESSION
Delivering high-quality virtual and hybrid events at scale has never been more important. Whether you’re running an all-hands Town Hall to share company results or unveiling your latest product to customers, the One Events platform in Microsoft Teams gives you a powerful, professional-grade stage.
In this session, we’ll explore the significant updates to the platform introduced throughout 2026, including the shift from Teams Premium licensing to Attendee Packs, the arrival of the new Events app in Teams, and other enhancements since Teams Town Halls reached full feature parity with the legacy Teams Live Events platform.
While the One Events platform supports events of any size, this session will focus primarily on large-scale broadcasts. We’ll briefly touch on small meeting scenarios, but our deep dive will centre on the configuration, architecture, and controls available for high-impact events. You’ll learn how to shape the Presenter and Attendee experiences, manage broadcast workflows, and drive engagement using capabilities like moderated Q&A, live polls, and even bringing attendees “on stage” to interact in real time.
We’ll finish with real-world examples showing how organisations are using Teams to deliver advanced event scenarios, such as hybrid experiences from large auditoriums, along with a look at the upcoming roadmap to help you plan for what’s coming next from Microsoft.
Whether you’re an IT Pro responsible for governance and configuration or an event producer looking to elevate the experience, this session will equip you with the knowledge you need to deliver polished, scalable, and engaging events in Teams.
