There is a legendary Dilbert cartoon where the Pointy-Haired Boss ponders why moving his App to the cloud, didn’t solve all of his problems, and keeps using buzzwords like Containers and Kubernetes to try and make it work!

Of course, it doesn’t work like that. In this session, I’ll try to help understand the trade-offs between using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure PaaS integration services for building scalable, maintainable, and secure integration solutions. I’ll also look at what can be achieved with both “Full Cloud” and Hybrid options based on whats currently available in the Azure ecosystem.

Assumed Knowledge:

Technical Solution Architects should have familiarity with cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and experience designing or reviewing Azure architectures.
