ABOUT THE SESSION
Think your tenant is safe because Security Defaults are on? Think again.
We’ll safely demonstrate how attackers can still walk straight through the front door-rifle through mailboxes and move around your tenant while no one’s looking. These gaps create a dangerous false sense of security that leaves most tenants exposed.
In this fast-paced, demo-driven session, we’ll rebuild Microsoft 365 the way it should be secured-using Entra ID, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint to form a modern Zero Trust baseline.
Attendees will learn how to:
Identify the real-world gaps in Security Defaults
Design effective Conditional Access and compliance policies
Integrate identity, device, and threat signals for automatic defence
Apply a 90-day hardening plan that actually works
Come for the (safe) hack. Stay for the rebuild. Leave with a tenant that’s default to defensible.
Assumed Knowledge:
You should have an understanding of a Microsoft 365 tenant
Practical Takeaways:
Attendees will take away key areas which will keep there Microsoft 365 (including Exchange, SharePoint etc) tenant protected against attacks and how to plug the gap.
Out of Session Scope:
We will not be going through licensing, or managed security
