I’m Gaëtan Nicolaye, Corporate Applications Coordinator at EVS Broadcast Equipment, located in Liège, Belgium.

In my role, I’m responsible for the coherence, lifecycle, and governance of EVS’s corporate application landscape. Positioned between business, IT, and governance, I focus on ensuring applications deliver measurable business value while remaining secure, compliant, cost efficient, and well integrated across the enterprise.

Over the past years, I’ve been closely involved in EVS’s AI adoption journey, approaching AI not as a standalone technology but as a natural evolution of the corporate application ecosystem. From early Copilot proof of concepts to a company wide governance framework, my focus has centered on embedding AI capabilities where they truly make sense, defining clear ownership and accountability, aligning AI initiatives with business processes, and preventing fragmentation through strong application governance.
