This session is not to glaze over or speak in favour of any technology provider, instead, it’s to address a social crisis we are all contributing to, whether knowingly or not. This session highlights how fragile the line has always been between opportunity and risk in technology. From the early ideals of ethical coding, to the culture of hacking, and now the promises of responsible AI, we’ve lost sight of something critical along the way.
In this session, Ahmad will reflect on what went wrong, to uncover lessons questioning our collective responsibility, and call for a renewed ethical approach to building and using technology. Because the future of AI isn’t just technical; it’s deeply values. We’ll explore what’s at stake, and what we must do to steer technology back toward responsibility.
